In 1999 a young man, Nikolaos B. Papayiannides, started out his venture to recreate forgotten recipes of Aegean. He established the Papayiannides range of food products consisting of jams, marmalades and sauces. He managed to create a harmonic relationship between modern technology and traditional methods of manufacture. Using his mother's recipes, Lela Papayiannides, as well as his grandmothers' recipes, Efthimia and Eleni, which date back to 1895, Nikos has created a unique range of handmade, preservatine free food products of traditional Greek tastes.

The innovations of Papayiannides Home Handicraft are: We use only seasonal fruits for our products, a large percentage of which is produced on our own land in Thermi Lesvos. We use over 68% of fruit and absolutely no artificial additives or preservatives. Everything that we produce, is from Papayiannides Home Handicraft by N. Papayiannides personal care and desire for the best quality. All our products are made in small batches to ensure the quality at workshop. All our organic range products have certification by DIO. Our sauces are made with virgin olive oil from our own olive trees.
